Lake Gogebic is the largest inland lake in the U.P.
Fishing mainly includes Walleye, Northern, Bass and Jumbo Perch.
The lake is 14 miles long and 2.5 miles across , at the widest part.
Surface area is 13,380 acres. Average depth is 17.5 feet.
The maximum depth is 38 feet. The total length of shore line is 34.35 miles.
It sits in two time zones. Central (southern half) and eastern time zone (Northern half).
It actually sits in two Counties, Gogebic and Ontonagon.
