The temps in the summer can be in the 90’s but more often the temps are in the high 70’s and low 80’s for day time temps. The evenings can get cool, so don’t forget to pack long pants and a sweat shirt…or we will be happy to sell you one of our Root Cellar ones. You will want to bring along a nice pair of hiking shoes for all the hiking you will be doing.

For the adventure seekers:
This is the only ski flying hill in the western hemisphere. Ride the 36 story chair lift and then travel another 18 stories to the top of the jump! You have an awesome 360 degree view that is over 1000 feet above Lake Superior with views of 2500 square miles on a clear day that takes your breath away. This is a wonderful site in the fall too, because of the colors….don’t forget to bring that camera!
The Adventure Mine is another favorite. Go back in time and go underground or take a bike ride through the ruins from the 1800’s. If you dare, you can also rappel 80 feet into a lower level part of the mine. If rappelling isn’t your thing, don’t worry, there is still a lot to see on this adventure.
