The Root Cellar Resort is perfect spot for your vacation anytime of the year. We are located on the southeast end of Lake Gogebic. The resort offers a quiet up north peaceful atmosphere to all our guests.

The Root Cellar Resort has a lot to offer you with a relatively new Inn with 13 rooms and 5 cabins. No matter the room or cabin you have a great view of the property and Lake Gogebic. All cabins have their own private deck to enjoy your morning coffee on. You can enjoy the beautiful summer nights around our bond firepits. You can leave right from you room or cabin and hit the snowmobile and orv trails in either direction. The Root Cellar Resort can be the perfect location to host your next banquet, family or class reunion, wedding, any kind of celebration or even a retreat. Check Out Time : 10am CST

The Root Cellar Restaurant & Bar is one of the finest dining establishment on Lake Gogebic. We offer many delicious dishes with a nightly special including our Friday Night Fish Fry Special, and Saturday Night Prime Rib Special. Restaurant is open Wednesday thru Sun: 2pm – 9pm CST.
Please note the Restuarant will be closed March 30 to May 7th 2025.
